Jess DiPierro Obert is a writer, photographer and award-winning filmmaker who splits her time between Brooklyn and Haiti, where she’s worked since 2016.

Jess entered Haiti during extreme civil unrest on behalf of Sown to produce a film for Hope for Haiti.

Jeven is an adventure filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, CA. His YouTube channel has amassed over 900k subscribers and continues to grow daily. Jeven’s channel teaches the art of filmmaking and storytelling to a world wide audience. His expertise in breaking down the process was a welcomed addition to the Sown Contributing Filmmaker team.

Gian Carlo Stigliano is a cinematographer and director based in Philadelphia. Carlo started to find his stride and passion for cinematography through his ever-growing love for how light can be translated through the lens. Since 2020, Gian Carlo has worked as a full-time freelance DP, working on commercial projects as well as documentaries and branded content. He also shares valuable information on his Youtube channel which includes cinematography breakdowns and filmmaking tips.

Jacob runs Amalgamation Pictures, a full service production company with extensive experience in scripted and documentary film production, script development, pitch packaging, branded content, and post production services. His love for people and purpose are what made him a perfect fit as a Sown Contributing Filmmaker.

Based in Nashville, Evolve touts one the most innovative and accomplished post and finishing houses in The South. Their post team comprises talented musicians and visual artists, and renders bold color-grading theory, hybrid score- and sound-design motivated storytelling to elevate any project to next-level production value. Evolve has volunteered their team of editors to help accomplish the post production work on a few of the Sown Films.
